Overview
Pasadena is an independent city within the SCAQMD basin, northeast of Los Angeles. Pasadena has its own building department and fire code. SCAQMD Check Before You Burn rules apply, as do Rule 445 restrictions. Pasadena's historic residential neighborhoods have larger lots than much of LA, making setback compliance more achievable.
