Overview
Long Beach is an independent charter city within the SCAQMD basin. Long Beach has its own building department and fire code enforcement. SCAQMD Check Before You Burn curtailment rules apply November through February. SCAQMD Rule 445 restrictions on new wood-burning installations also apply.
