Overview

Bellevue is the largest Eastside city in Washington state and falls entirely within PSCAA's wood-burning curtailment jurisdiction. Bellevue has a well-funded building department with efficient online permitting.

Building Permits

Bellevue Development Services — 425-452-6800, bellevuewa.gov/permits. Online permitting available. Permanent masonry and gas-connected features require permits. Portable features do not.

PSCAA Rules

Check pscleanair.gov for curtailment status October through March. Bellevue's lot sizes are generally larger than Seattle proper, making setback compliance more achievable in most neighborhoods.
